Sarah Riazati is a filmmaker, animator, designer, developer and educator based in Durham, North Carolina. After graduating from the School of Media and Journalism at UNC-Chapel Hill, she worked in New York as a video and interactive producer for Cornerstone Agency, The Fader magazine, and Brickhouse Projects. Somewhere in between, she escaped New York for one year as a filmmaker-in-residence at Fabrica in Treviso, Italy. In 2016, she moved (back) to North Carolina, where she is now an adjunct professor at her alma mater and an MFA candidate at Duke’s Experimental and Documentary Arts program.
